For the first time, Vogue Greece invites the public to experience a special presentation at the Museum of Cycladic Art, bringing together archival material from the magazine, works of contemporary art and creations by international fashion houses in an open dialogue.
A WORLD IN BETWEEN takes place alongside the fourth edition of the Vogue Greece Change Makers conference, organised by Vogue Greece and Kathimerini and to be held at the Athens Concert Hall on Tuesday, 3 November. The experience offers visitors an immersive journey through contemporary image-making, craftsmanship and timeless beauty, while inviting them to reflect on the world we inhabit today.
Elis Kiss, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Greece, notes:
“On the occasion of this year’s international Vogue Greece Change Makers IV conference, our desire — and our ambition — was to create and share another distinctive experience with our audience. Today, Vogue Greece is, above all, a multifaceted hub where print, digital and social platforms, special projects and events come together.
At a time when creative languages increasingly intersect and the boundaries between them become ever more fluid, Vogue Greece and A WORLD IN BETWEEN exist precisely at that meeting point: where fashion, beauty, art and culture come together in dialogue, opening up new perspectives and creating new narratives.
We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the Museum of Cycladic Art for hosting this presentation and providing such an inspiring setting for a meaningful dialogue between fashion, art and culture. After all, the Museum’s iconic Cycladic figurines, with their abstract forms and timeless aesthetic, offer a powerful reflection on the human body and on our enduring ideas of beauty.”
Nicolas Vamvouklis, curator of the presentation, notes:
“A WORLD IN BETWEEN explores how the spirit of our time is reflected in the encounter between fashion and contemporary art. Moving beyond the pages of the magazine, Vogue Greece creates a space in which different ideas and forms of expression converge, while the boundaries between them remain fluid.
Haute couture creations coexist with iconic photographs from Vogue Greece editorials, works of art, video pieces and interactive installations. The presentation includes works by acclaimed artists such as Anne Imhof, Yorgos Lanthimos, Helmut Lang, Kresiah Mukwazhi and Pipilotti Rist, among others.”
Nicolas Georgiou, Creative and Fashion Director of Vogue Greece, notes:
“The pages of Vogue have always provided fertile ground for fashion to emerge as a means of expression and to engage with the art and culture of its time. This has also been a defining principle of Vogue Greece since its earliest issues.
With this significant presentation, the first of its kind for Vogue Greece, we aim to transform the two-dimensional surface of the printed magazine into a multidimensional experience.”
A WORLD IN BETWEEN will take place from 31 October to 5 November 2026 at the Museum of Cycladic Art, Stathatos Mansion (Vasilissis Sofias Avenue & 1 Irodotou Street), on the first floor.
